Proven Advocacy and Influence | Monitoring Governmental Regulations

GBCA advocates for the inclusion of Blacks in construction on projects on both the public and private owned sector. GBCA has also begun initiatives to monitor governmental and corporate parity programs, frequently known as “minority participation” programs. On behalf of its’ members, GBCA will advocate for parity programs where they are needed, and advocate for retaining needed programs.

The GBCA maintains a visible and active presence throughout the year with our elected and appointed state officials and policy makers especially during legislative sessions. Member firms count on us staying on top of what is in their firm and industry’s best interest to ensure a strong and influential voice at the state capitol.
