Georgia Black
Constructors Association

Our History
Founded in Atlanta in 2005 by Bill Cannon, Margaret Muhammad, and construction professionals from across Georgia, the Georgia Black Constructors Association (GBCA) was established to strengthen the presence, participation, and economic advancement of Black-owned businesses within the construction industry.
What began as a collaborative effort to address barriers facing Black contractors has grown into a respected industry association with relationships spanning Georgia and the Southeast.
For more than 20 years, GBCA has championed greater access to contracting opportunities, stronger industry relationships, workforce and business development, and meaningful participation in public and private construction projects.
Today, GBCA continues that legacy by bringing together contractors, skilled trades professionals, suppliers, developers, government entities, and corporate partners committed to building businesses, expanding opportunity, and strengthening communities.
SERVICES

Prime Contractors & Developers Seeking Tradesmen
Connect Your Opportunities w Qualified Construction Firms
GBCA welcomes the opportunity to assist prime contractors, developers, government agencies, and project owners seeking to expand outreach and participation by qualified, diversified construction firms.
Through GBCA’s E-Marketing Program, project opportunities, bid invitations, subcontracting needs, and requests for qualified trades can be distributed directly to our network of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and construction professionals.
Outreach services are available through GBCA E-Marketing packages or eligible membership participation.
Rather than simply posting an opportunity, GBCA helps you reach the construction community you are seeking to engage—supporting meaningful outreach, stronger subcontractor participation, and inclusion on current and upcoming projects.
Have a project or bid opportunity to share?
Contact GBCA at Programs@gablackconstructors.org or (678) 750-3486 to learn more about our E-Marketing and contractor outreach services.
